The 1st music video that is inspiring my own video is actually the video to the song I am using, 'Location' by Khalid.
It is giving me an idea on basing my music video on a similar concept, I think it really makes sense with the lyrics.
In the video, he is in a desert scene which gives the feeling that he is in a hot country.
I plan to use several different destinations in my video to literally be in different locations/countries throughout the video.
The 2nd music video that is influencing my project is "All falls down" by Kanye West.
The reason this video interests me is that a lot of it is filmed from the POV of someone following the woman, using a tracking shot of her walking around.
I am planning on using this technique in most of my video, being filmed from behind as I walk around, as I want the audience to feel as if they are directly behind me in some shots.
The third video inspiring me is DJ Khaled/Rihanna/Bryson Tiller "Wild Thoughts".
I love all the different filming techniques that were used, such as the camera zooming into an establishing shot as the artists walk closer to the camera man. I plan to use this technique in my video. There are several different sets/locations used in the music video, such as a busy party, a bedroom, a platform with fireworks shown in the sky above, and an abandoned motel with the artist shown sitting in a window. In my music video there will also be this juxtaposition of different locations.
