The intro of 'Everyday" by Ariana Grande HUGELY inspired me today.
I am planning on using a similar technique to the one shown below at the start of my music video to introduce the opening credits, and then it will appear as if i "swoop" them to the side as the lyrics begin at 0:13 seconds.
Later in the video if any more text is necessary, such as receiving texts where the writing can pop up above my phone, I will also be interacting with the text and flicking it away or pushing it down in this animated style.
This genre of music, pop, is the same as the genre I am doing and so I feel using the same editing styles is appropriate.
